Designed for those who desire to teach history using quality literature rather than standard textbooks, this study guide contains 110 lessons for both Semesters 1 and 2, the text of The Mayflower Compact, and a simplified version of first five principles of the Principle Approach (which is a method of applying biblical principles to every area of life).
Literature selections are commonly available from your local library. The materials for the course may be purchased individually or in convenient packs (see Related Items below). The packs list the books in the order used in this guide.
Some supplemental books referred to in the lessons, but not included in the packs, are The Light and the Glory by Peter Marshall, The Landing of the Pilgrims by James Daugherty (this is part of other packs), Rules of Civility and Decent Behavior by George Washington, and History Stories for Children by John Wayland. You may be able to locate these at your library or substitute other books.
