Seventh grade is a transitional year. Our curriculum assumes that the student has mastered basic writing and math skills through the 6th-grade level.

Eighth grade will demand more of junior-high students. They should assume more responsibility for completing their work on schedule. If they master basic grammar now, they can turn their attention to more advanced writing concepts in high school.
