The goal of this course is three-fold: Students are to (1) look at what they believe about God, themselves, and the world (their worldview) using Susan Schaeffer Macaulay’s How to Be Your Own Selfish Pig; (2) each be challenged to be “your own self, at your best, all the time" using William Danforth’s I Dare You; and (3) think about those around them—at home, in their community, and abroad using Window on the World. They will also read and respond to the Epistles and The Acts of the Apostles in the New Testament.

Junior high is a transitional period between childhood and adulthood, and middle school students are ready for a dare. Take the challenge and lay a foundation that your student can build on for the rest of his/her life.
